What we store

Account email and auth identity; household membership; pet profiles; care logs, medications, reminders, journal entries, visits; uploaded photos and papers; and share links you create. Data is stored in Supabase (Postgres + private Storage) with household-scoped access rules.

Share links

Recheck, vaccination, and visit summary links are unlisted URLs. Anyone with the link can read the allow-listed summary until the link expires or you revoke it. Do not put secrets in share notes that you would not hand to the recipient.

Email and analytics

We send auth and reminder emails through our providers. Optional product analytics (for example PostHog) and hosting analytics (Vercel) may record page usage on the web app. You can ask questions about analytics at support@chikapet.com.

Export and deletion

Signed-in Settings offers a free complete export (ZIP with export.json, photos, and papers) and an account deletion path that removes your auth user and associated storage after confirmation. Leaving a shared household may keep care history for co-parents who remain.
